Alice in Wonderland Napkins

Alice in Wonderland Napkins

Quick and easy might just be my two favorite words in the English language. And those two words just so happen to describe this Alice in Wonderland napkin project to a T. If you can use an iron, you can literally make enough of these napkins for all of your party guests in thirty minutes. Considering how much charm they will add to your table, I think it’s time well spent!

Alice in Wonderland Bingo

Alice in Wonderland Bingo

Bingo and tea? Why not! In a land where croquet is played with flamingo mallets and the clocks are always set to tea time, bingo and tea doesn’t seem like a particularly strange combo. Games are one of my favorite ways to keep little ones happy and out of trouble at parties. So when I have the opportunity to design a game that coordinates with my theme, you know I pounce on it!

Mad Hatter’s Hatbox

Mad Hatter’s Hatbox

Hatboxes for the Mad Hatter’s party hats? Yes, please! Is there any other way to store a hat from Wonderland’s best millenary shop? This box goes together quickly, so you can make enough for all your Alice in Wonderland party guests in no time. Let’s get started so that your guests can leave your party in style. In this style, 10/6, that is!

Mad Hatter’s Brew

Mad Hatter’s Brew

If you’re planning an Alice in Wonderland party, be prepared to fall down the rabbit hole. The books and movies are filled with quirky imagery that becomes a never-ending well of inspiration. The more you make, the more ideas pop into your head. Which is how this little idea was born. A tea party favor bag is perfect for holding small candies, bath salts, and yes, even tea.

It’s Always Tea Time

It’s Always Tea Time

For our daughter’s vintage Alice in Wonderland party, I tried to imagine all the things that would make Wonderland real for a room full of 5 year-olds. From bottles with “Drink Me” tags to Mad Hatter party hats, I wanted to sprinkle everything they touched with a little magic dust from Wonderland. This Mad Hatter’s tea box filled with cookies shaped like tea bags was the perfect blend of magical and yummy!

Ready, Set, Charger!

Ready, Set, Charger!

Part of the magic of Wonderland is that things are rarely what they seem. A little of this magic unexpectedly worked itself into my daughter’s Alice in Wonderland party and made its way to our Mad Hatter table. These Kate Aspen paper plates are the closest thing you can get to the real thing. I fell in love the moment I laid eyes on them. In fact, they inspired me to crank my tablescape design up a notch by adding gold chargers.

What’s a Mad Hatter tea party without the iconic Mad Hatter hat? I wasn’t particularly anxious to find out, so I made one for each of the guests at my daughter’s party. I loved how they turned out, and as it turned out, they were super easy to make. In case you’re planning a similar party, or if you just want to rock the Mad Hatter’s style (I promise I won’t judge), I’m filling you in on the steps so that you can make your own quickly and easily.

Down the Rabbit Hole

Down the Rabbit Hole

No milestone birthday should go unnoticed, and the little one’s 5th birthday was no exception. Up until this point, we had planned low-key family celebrations, such as apple picking. But for the big 0-5, we decided to step up our game in a major way.
